SCX Track is a much higher quality, heavy duty track, with a grainy and rough surface for better tire traction for those cars right out of the box. SCX is compatible with the old Scalextric "Classic" style track. Adapters are available to connect SCX Track to the new style high quality smooth surface Scalextric Sport Track. This will allow for use of Scalextric lapcounters and other track accessories. SCX Race Sets are equipped with two cars and track and are ready to go, being complete with SCX power transformer and dynamic hand held SCX speed controllers.
